Squirrel Stores
Everybody would love to have a shop in their village like Squirrel Stores. As they say themselves they are ‘nuts about provisions’ and we’d have to agree – step inside this beautiful shop and you’ll find a stash of well-chosen goodies including delicious artisan treats.
Freshly baked loaves from Hambleton Bakery, meat from Nottinghamshire butcher, Maloneys, sweet and sticky honey from Peacock Farm in the Vale of Belvoir all appear on the shelves but, at every turn, you’ll find something else you’ll just have to try. One of the best things about the business is that it knows exactly what its community wants and that’s why you’ll always find plenty of essential items for times when you run out of something you can’t get through the day without. Or locally-designed cards if you forget someone’s birthday and know a text just won’t cut it.
