The Coffee Obsessive, Leicester
It’s fair to say that the owner of The Coffee Obsessive is more than a little obsessed with coffee – Leicester resident Iqbal fell in love with the drink when he moved to Australia in 2009 and while he was working in fashion, he was becoming more drawn to coffee culture. He initially took a barista course but wasn’t thinking about coffee as a career.
In 2018, Iqbal moved back to the UK settling for a while in London and, once again, immersing himself in the coffee scene. And then 2019 rolled around and he decided to head back to Leicester and open up his own cafe.
The Coffee Obsessive is a welcoming spot and, as you’d expect, there’s a vast array of coffee from around the world to try. Not sure what to go for? The friendly team including head barista James (pictured) can help! And if you’re hungry, enjoy a light bite from the food menu.
