The Plough, Coton

Just three miles from Cambridge in the pretty village of Coton, you’ll find The Plough. It’s a rustic gastropub that’s won national recognition including being named as one of the top 50 gastropubs in the UK in the Estrella Damm awards.

The pub is owned by Pasquale who is well-known by the locals and offers a warm welcome to all who visit. There are both casual and formal dining areas with a terrace that makes it one of the best spots in the area for enjoying long summer evenings.

On the menu, you’ll find seasonal dishes made using quality local produce including Cider Braised Pork Belly with chilli fondant, honey glazed carrot and burnt apple puree, Cornfed Chicken Breast wrapped in parma ham, served with parmesan mash, and Cauliflower Steak with chickpeas, pickled beetroot, carrot and spring onion.

Sunday roasts are extremely popular with the fluffiest of Yorkshire puddings and plenty of gravy and they are served all day. Perfect for those who like to take it easy on a Sunday!
