The Sir John Borlase Warren stands in a prominent position at Canning Circus, near Nottingham city centre.
It’s run by Nottinghamshire’s Lincoln Green Brewery and it’s a proper pub through and through – laid-back and welcoming, with a great selection of drinks. It showcases 12 cask ales: at least four brewed by Lincoln Green, plus Everards Tiger and guest beers from microbreweries near and far.
The Sir John offers a lunchtime and evening menu featuring well prepared, traditional pub meals, ranging from fish finger sandwiches through to steak & Hood pie (Hood is a beer brewed by Lincoln Green). There is also a mouthwatering Sunday roast menu and cheese and meat slates.
