Great Food Club Guide Cambridgeshire Wansford Country Lounge

Wansford Country Lounge

Wansford Country Lounge Café Bar opened in 2017 and is a lovely, cosy spot for breakfast, lunch, evening meals (selected dates), cakes and coffee. It’s beautifully decorated with comfy chairs and a wood burner – perfect for chilly days.

Breakfast is particularly popular with Full English breakfasts served every day. Not got quite the appetite for that? Then why not try the Eggs Royale or maybe the American-style pancakes? The Vegetarian Breakfast with Farmer John’s eggs sounds good to us!

The lunch menu comprises light bites such as Hummus, Avocado and Poached Egg; Smoked Salmon and Crayfish Salad plus Beetroot, Halloumi and Mixed Seed Salad. A selection of sandwiches are always available and the bread is from local bakery, Hambleton Bakery. Or why not go big with the Chef’s Homemade Steak and Ale Pie or the Vegan Halloumi and Red Pepper Burger?

And of course, there’s plenty of cake!
