I recently discovered an original First World War Cook Book, published by the Ministry of Food in 1917.

It contains all sorts of fantastic content that I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks.

One of the most intriguing is this article on how to make a cooker from a hay box. Anyone fancy giving it a go? Take care though!
