Bread & Butterflies

West Bridgford is a popular neighbourhood in Nottingham and home to Bread and Butterflies, a vintage-inspired tearoom set up by Linsey and Lisa who were looking for somewhere to sell their craft. 

Lisa creates delicate macrame plant hangers and wall decorations while Linsey makes one-of-a-kind wire sculptures and is open to commissions.

Vintage teacups and cutlery along with classic vinyl tunes set the scene and the homemade cakes are excellent. You’ll also find plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. It’s the perfect place to meet friends for a cuppa or pick something delicious to take away. The sandwiches and savoury snacks cater for all tastes, too. During the colder months, tuck into some warming soup and watch the world go by from a window seat. There’s an area outside for dining if the weather allows.

Celebration cakes are made to order and dogs can have their own treats in the form of ‘pupcakes’ and Bread and Butterflies are happy to cater for your dietary requirements.

You might have guessed that Linsey and Lisa love dogs, so naturally, four-legged friends are welcome and there’s free WiFi which you’ll likely want, so you upload some cute snaps to Instagram.
