Travel down a narrow lane on the edge of Stevenage and you’ll find a real local gem, Brookfield Farm Butchery. It’s a family-run farm shop and butchers with a prize-winning herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle and free range pigs. The family have farmed in the area for three generations so they really know what they’re doing! Their animals are reared in an environmentally-friendly way and to the highest welfare standards. And the meats mature naturally.
They make their own sausages and burgers, they cure their own bacon and make their own meat pies. Plus they also work with local suppliers to carefully select chicken, lamb, turkey and game. And with a wealth of butchery and farming experience, customers can be confident in the quality and provenance of their products.
On our visit we picked up a range of sausages and pies, and can testify to the quality of produce available!
