Culture Bakery began as a wholesale business, selling freshly baked bread to businesses throughout Hertfordshire and across the Buckinghamshire border. But when the chance emerged to expand into a café and shop, the opportunity was too good to pass up.
Culture is the brainchild of partners Shamsun Nahar and Will Cameron. Shamsun runs the shop and café on the High Street in Tring; while Will heads up baking just outside town. The café is on the site of a former butcher, and the original tiles behind the counter are a clue to the building’s history! Shamsun and team sell a range of different loaves, pastry snacks and sandwiches, as well as some excellent coffee.
The café itself is light and airy and a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by. Plus the staff are extremely friendly which is testament to the culture Shamsun has built there (excuse the pun)!
Definitely pop in for a coffee and a loaf. Or if you’re out and about in Tring, you’ll find Culture loaves in many shops and businesses nearby!
