Duncan Murray Wines has been part of Market Harborough’s community of independent shops for over 20 years. During that time, this unique shop has won an array of awards including UK Independent Wine Merchant of the Year and Portuguese Independent Wine Merchant of the Year and has become firmly established as the place to go for great drinks and terrible jokes!
Duncan brings a wealth of experience from his days at Oddbins and time spent working on vineyards in the South of France. His vision is simple: “I set out to create the kind of shop that I’d like to shop in,” he says. This means stocking wines, beers and spirits from small producers that are packed with personality and pizzazz, giving people the chance to try them at his Free Saturday tastings and being on hand to offer advice.
Duncan Murray Wines also hosts regular off-site tastings and a pop-wine bar and is an approved provider of Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Wine Courses.
