Feast and the Furious
Feast and the Furious of Melton Mowbray is a family-run smoked-food business and food truck established in 2017. It is run by self-taught smoker/chef/BBQist extraordinaire, Jon Oaks.
Jon says: “I’m passionate about food and cooking, and have been since I was young. I have turned my passion into a hobby, and then into a business. My love of all things smoked and BBQ’d mean most of my offerings are smoked, slow cooked or BBQ’d.”
When we tried Feast and the Furious’s signature 22-hour smoked brisket, it was a revelation – delicious and packed full of flavour.
You can find this producer at markets, fairs, festivals, and private functions. Their foods are also available in local cafés/delis/restaurants, including cold-smoked cheeses such as halloumi, brie and Stilton. Plus: smoked nuts, butter, salt, and even chocolate. They smoke everything over real wood and charcoal.
