Flourish Craft Bakery is a very popular café, bakery and pizza place from siblings Paul & Helen O’Connell. It’s located on an industrial estate in Watford and they’ve managed to create something very stylish, yet cleverly in-keeping with the surroundings.
As well as being a wholesale bakery, customers can also pop in to the café. The bread is excellent and has won awards over the years. Their sourdough won “Britain’s best loaf 2021” and has recently won it again in 2025! Huge credit to Their executive head baker, Salah Eddine‑Bouremmane and team!
There’s plenty of cakes and pastries on offer from flaky cruffins to wonderfully tangy lemon‑blueberry cakes. Or if you’re settling in for a meal, there are full breakfasts, toasties, wraps and sandwiches including ‘The Reuben’ which is salt-beef brisket with Swiss cheese on carraway bread.
