Quotidian Bakery has been at the heart of the Hitchin bakery scene since 2000. This award-winning, family run bakery has generated a loyal following with customers regularly queuing out of the door!
Quotidian is owned and run by Catriona and Andy Smith. They pride themselves on making everything by hand and baking it on the premises daily. They specialise in a wide range of traditional French and Italian flavoured breads such as baguettes, ciabattas, foccacias, sourdough, rosemary and olive. Plus they also offer cakes, traditional croissants and sweet pastries, savoury goods, filled sandwiches and hot or cold drinks.
Quotidian’s customers are mostly popping in, grabbing something fresh and heading off. But there are a few small tables for those with a bit more time to enjoy a coffee, a pastry and watch the world go by!
Quotidian is a Hitchin institution and it’s easy to see why. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is exceptional and a real testament to the craft of great baking!
