Goff’s Butchers of Edwinstowe, in Notts is a real family business. David, a butcher for over 35 years, and his wife Kate have worked hard and passionately together to build a vision to offer customers the best the craft of butchery has to offer. Now with their oldest son Tom bringing his chef skills to the business they are going from strength to strength.
Although this is a small village butcher’s shop, they have lasted so long by combining high quality meat with excellent customer service.
As you’d expect, Goff’s has plenty of fresh cuts of meat on display, plus sausages and burgers handmade on the premises daily. They pride themselves on sourcing meat from within a 15 mile radius of the shop. But what makes Goff’s special is the commitment to the craft. Whether it’s marinaded chicken for a BBQ, a homemade pie for an autumn evening or a stuffed lamb joint for a Sunday roast, Goff’s have it covered.
It’s not just a butcher’s, it’s definitely a deli too. They even have artisan bread available on weekends to ensure your bacon butty is as fresh as it could be!
