The Griffin at Plumtree
The Griffin Plumtree has recently undergone a huge renovation with a newly refurbished restaurant and there’s an Italian-style courtyard – a place to sit and relax. The restaurant has its fair share of accolades being the holder of an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence and getting rave reviews on TripAdvisor.
You can expect classic pub favourites such as Gammon and Beer Battered Haddock and some more exciting dishes including Hake Kiev and Fresh Tagliatelle. The a la carte menu changes with the seasons and produce is locally sourced where possible. Freshly-baked baguettes are available at lunchtime if you fancy something light.
The pub and restaurant are open from 12pm each day and, as a traditional village pub, you can expect a warm welcome even if you just pop in for a drink. Private dining rooms are available if you’re hosting a special celebration.
