The Griffin Plumtree impressive renovation has created an outstandingly comfortable pub, a beautiful restaurant and a stunning Italian-style courtyard.
The restaurant holds an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence and offers a pleasing mix of classic pub favourites and more luxurious (but still accessible) dishes. The homebaked suet pastry pie of the day always delivers, as do the steaks sourced from Harker’s Farm, located just a few minutes away. There are vegetarian and vegan options aplenty, afternoon tea options, and freshly-baked baguettes are available at lunchtime if you fancy something light.
Service is from the top drawer and you can expect a warm welcome whether you pop in for a drink or a meal. Private dining rooms are available if you’re hosting a special celebration.
