Hart’s Hotel & Kitchen
A contemporary urban alternative to rural sister venue Hambleton Hall of Rutland, Hart’s is located in the upmarket Park Estate of Nottingham and has won all manner of plaudits over the years.
Hart’s has been serving up nationally acclaimed cooking since 1997 but in March 2019, Tim Hart downsized the restaurant by closing the 80-seater restaurant in the old general hospital and moving it into the hotel.
The interior – designed by Stefa Hart – is relaxing and intimate, seating a maximum of 28 diners. The walls are adorned with signed photos of famous artists who have frequented the hotel including the most recent Cliff Richard. The bedrooms in Hart’s award-winning hotel are equally comfortable and luxurious, perfect if you wish to combine a gourmet dining experience with an overnight stay.
The new menus have been created by Michelin Star Executive Chef Aaron Patterson from sister hotel Hambleton Hall in Rutland and head chef Martin Sludds. Offering classic British dishes that are flavoursome and exciting on the palette and using the best seasonal ingredients, often local sourced.
The wine list has been compiled by proprietor Tim Hart, and includes a wide range of interesting bottles from small producers starting from £25.
