Hertford Sauce Company is the brainchild of Hertford resident, Gary, who has a passion for great sauces! It started life back in lockdown 2020 with the goal of creating something lovely for Hertford and driving interest in the town.
But now it’s evolved into a business with multiple product lines and stocked in some cracking places like Smallford Farm Shop, French & Day, Battlers Green and at various markets across the county.
There are three core products: the award-winning ketchup, the brown sauce and the honey BBQ. Plus there are some seasonal specials from time to time. They are generally made from Glinwell British tomatoes, and Gary uses their production facilities in Smallford too. Field to bottle in about 100 metres!
So if you see a bottle of Hertford Sauce Co in a shop or local market, grab a couple. Not only is this a true Hertfordshire product, but it tastes wonderful too!
