Iberico World Tapas

The big sister to the highly successful Bar Iberico has been producing exceptional quality Spanish-inspired tapas for over 15 years. And unlike the busy atmosphere of its sibling, you get a slightly more refined experience at Iberico World Tapas, but the food is equally excellent!

You’ll find Iberico World Tapas nestled in the heart of the Lace Market in one of Nottingham’s oldest grade II listed buildings, The Justice Museum (formerly The County Gaol) on High Pavement. It’s underground Moorish decor adds to the theatre.

And while this is a Spanish-based experience, an Asian influence is definitely very obvious too. Tapas classics such as Padron Peppers, Patatas Bravas and Gambas a la Plancha, sit alongside Inside-Out Chicken Wings in Yuzu Sweet Chilli, Miso Salmon or Lamb with Nori Jam. And if you fancy a drink with your meal, there are plenty of excellent wines or sherries to pair with your food. Rustic simplicity, combined with refined ingredients. A fantastic dining experience!

The quality of the food has been consistently recognised with awards over the years including the Nottinghamshire Bar & Restaurant Awards to Square Meal’s UK Top 100. But what they’re, rightly, most proud of is the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition for Good Quality, Good Value Cooking, which they’ve held since 2013. Good Quality, Good Value Cooking: definitely an understatement!
