The Four Bells Inn is a welcoming village pub in the heart of Woodborough, Nottinghamshire, serving bold, well-cooked food in an attractive setting.
Husband-and-wife team Charlie and Jake took over in 2024, having already worked here as general manager and head chef. They have built a strong local following through warm service, carefully sourced ingredients and a menu that mixes pub favourites with Asian-inspired dishes and modern ideas.
Expect starters such as sticky Southern fried chicken with spicy honey and sriracha, or Canarian crispy potatoes with mojo rojo. Mains might include Vietnamese chicken supreme and pork belly with poached apple sauce, alongside classics such as beef and ale pie and ale-battered haddock with triple-cooked chips.
Local ales feature prominently on the bar, while the relaxed atmosphere suits both casual drinks and longer meals.
The Four Bells was named one of Nottinghamshire’s top three pubs at the National Pub & Bar Awards in both 2025 and 2026.
