Gannets Day Café
Located in the market town of Newark-on-Trent, Gannets Day Café has been a popular spot to stop for a bite to eat since 1979. Both locals and visitors to the town love to relax in this pretty Georgian building, opposite the castle.
Providing a warm welcome at any time of the day, the focus is on locally-sourced food and the menu reflects the seasons. You’ll also find signature dishes such as the legendary carrot cake, Gannets Traditional Grilled Breakfast (Sibleys Lincolnshire sausages are the star of the show here) and the classics such as buttered crumpets and cheese on toast.
Vegetarians, vegans and those on a gluten-free diet are well-catered for, so everyone will find something delicious on the menu! Takeaway services and outside catering are also offered.
