Lazos Grove, located in Royston’s Corn Exchange, is a very special speciality shop! This is the preserve of Mike Paton who sells Lazos Grove Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In Mike’s words “a medium intensity, well balanced oil, with floral notes of green tomato and cut grass.”
The oil originates from Lazos olive grove which is located in the foothills of the Taygetos mountains in an area of the South Peloponnese called the Mani. The olives come from trees which are hundreds of years old, high in polyphenols and antioxidants. The olives are produced naturally without pesticides and harvested by hand by the same family who have been doing this for generations.
