Mallories is a family-owned bar, restaurant and hotel in Kirkby Mallory. The building dates from 1790 and has been a hotel and restaurant under names such as Kirkby House and the Old Dairy. Owners Ian and Julie have given it a significant refurbishment to give it a much-needed new lease of life. They have a passion for dining in restaurants and staying in hotels, and decided to open their own!

The restaurant is the preserve of head chef Josh Harper who uses local ingredients across a regularly updating menu. Example dishes are British classics like cider-glazed pork-belly, rump of lamb, steaks or beer battered fish and chips. Plus, as you’d expect, roasts on Sundays too.

The bar is extremely well stocked too. Well-trained bar staff are on hand to mix up your favourite cocktail or simply pour you a pint of cask ale to sup in the beer garden.

If you’re staying overnight, there are nine beautifully decorated rooms to choose from. Options range from a family room to a suite and prices are very reasonable.

Mallories is a short walk from Mallory Park racetrack and just over 4 miles from Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, so the perfect spot for a luxury weekend break!
