Based in the old watermill in the centre of Cambridge, MillWorks has excellent views of the river – and inside, you’ll find a working water wheel. It’s easy to see why it’s been voted one of the most romantic restaurants in the city – sit on the terrace with a glass of wine, some light lunch and someone you really like!
Brunch is a big deal (offered Saturday and Sunday from 10-noon) and the menu is comprehensive, suiting all tastes and dietary requirements. We love the sound of chorizo shakshuka, pancakes with caramelised bananas, vegan full English…the list goes on. MillWorks is proud to work with other local businesses, too – the English muffins are from Fitzbillies bakery and the coffee from Hot Numbers coffee roasters.
Lunch and dinner options appear endless and change regularly. Choose from pizzas, steak, wings, burgers and much more. There are also dedicated menus for gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
