Milly’s is a new bistro at The William Cecil in Stamford serving up no-fuss dishes that are crafted with care by head chef Liam and his team. Milly was the wife of William Cecil and was known for her wit – as such, this bistro offers a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea or cocktails.
Great Food Club headed there for lunch and loved the laidback menu and sampled the trio of arancini, Serrano ham and tempura courgette; roast cod, creamed potato, spinach, tomato and pepper salsa and flat iron steak, Café de Paris sauce and Koffmann fries – all were delicious and well presented.
Cocktails are served from 5-7pm, seven days a week (with the exception of Sunday when they are served from 4-8pm) and Monday is wine club.
