The Blonde Beet

Jo Kemp is passionate about plant-based dishes and, in 2019 she took a vegan cookery diploma and started a supper club at her house. The idea took off and, as more people wanted to enjoy her delicious meals, Jo began to offer a hot food takeaway delivery service to the surrounding areas.  In 2021, Jo opened The Blonde Beet a plant-based café and bistro in Stamford, offering a delicious menu of pies, salads, main meals and cakes that will delight everyone.

Step inside the gorgeous 17th building, and you’ll see it oozes charm and character with plenty of little nooks in which to cosy up and enjoy some homemade delights. There’s also a little courtyard where you can escape the crowds on the high street and relax with a glass of wine. On Fridays, there’s a bistro evening with a tempting menu of seasonal dishes – it gets very popular so book ahead!
