My Muki Sushi Deli, on Darkes Lane in Potters Bar is an absolute gem. This is a family-run deli and restaurant serving naturally tasty Japanese food and sushi. Led by Jo Hiwatashi, this is place on a mission to make high quality, healthy food accessible to all.
There’s a varied menu with a balance of modern and authentic Japanese flavours at a very reasonable price. A range of modern and traditional sushi: including sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. On the deli counter, small plates such as chicken skewers to vegetable sides and a selection of Bento boxes. Plus if you’re cooking at home, there are shelves with noodles, rice, oils, seasoning and other ingredients.
But the thing we really noticed about MyMuki was the care, the attention to detail and the deep love of the craft of preparing great food at an affordable price. If you’re near Potters Bar, and you haven’t yet been, maybe it’s time to change that!
