Dower House Coffee in Berkhamsted is a true family-run business owned by the Meikle family (Rory, Aidan and Laura). The dream was to sell homemade baked goods locally. And in 2022 Dower House opened and the dream became a reality!
It’s based in a beautifully restored, 16th-century building on the High Street. Inside, stylishly decorated, with plenty of clever nooks and an upstairs workspace.
Coffee is at the heart what they do here – they have their own Dower House blend, a delightful speciality coffee with notes of dark chocolate, nougat and molasses. There’s also plenty of cookies and pastries to choose from plus an exceptional range of toasties.
And if you’re looking for something special – why not talk to them about a celebration cake or a gift box of brownies, blondies or cookies.
A lovely spot on Berkhamsted High Street, and definitely worth popping in!
