Amy’s Bakehouse is a big favourite of ours here at GFC and has been vital to some recent family birthdays! This is business located just south of St Albans founded in 2022 by siblings Amy and Nick Leigh.
In a short time they have built a very strong reputation for creating beautifully designed cakes and handcrafted pastries that combine creativity with excellent flavour. As we have found, they are excellent when it comes to celebration cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and dessert boxes, all made with close attention to detail and presentation.
It has a really efficient ordering system through the website and can turn around very complex orders in only a couple of days. The website showcases their latest creations, seasonal collections, and bespoke options, and it’s very customisable too.
This business started with £500 which they spent on a trolley full of sweets, these days it’s a big unit in Park Street, a very effective digital presence and excellent customer service. We wish them continued success!
