Nonna Juana Pasta
Nonna Juana Pasta is a deli run by Maria Herraiz and Juan Andres specialising in fresh pasta. The couple fuse both Italian and Argentinian influences to create a delicious array of handmade produce. As a child, Juan’s grandmother taught him to make pasta and so the business is named in her honour.
On any given day visitors to the deli will find the counter heaving with pasta, bread, pastries and more. Filled ravioli is a particular speciality and includes: spinach, ricotta and hazelnut; blue cheese, date, almond and mint; chicken with Mediterranean herbs and butternut squash. You’ll also find sandwiches made with homemade focaccia and plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans, including vegetable pastries.
Those with a sweet tooth will certainly be delighted by the cakes – perhaps a slice of Dulce de Leche cheesecake or lemon meringue pie appeals? We’d be happy with either!
