The Princess Alexandra in Northampton is a neat, well-kept, award-winning craft-beer pub. It serves pizzas and a good range of snacks. However, exciting, creative beers are the main focus, with more than 30 brews to choose from.
There’s a cosy feel inside, with wood-clad walls providing an organic, rustic warmth. It’s a nice environment to relax in.
Local breweries are well represented among the five cask handpumps, while craft big-hitters such as Cloudwater, Magic Rock and Siren keep guests interested on the keg lines.
Food-wise, there a tempting array of pizzas. Also, the ‘Craft Beer Bites’ menu includes tempura vegetables, fig & goats’ cheese parcels, beer croquettes and fiery meatballs.
