Six Hills Brewing, Stevenage

Six Hills, on Stevenage High Street, holds the distinction of being the town’s first craft brewery and taproom.

The story started in 2017 when founder Paul Clinton started brewing at home. He and his wife were already running a restaurant so they started selling the beers there and never looked back. What started out as a cask ale business evolved into craft beer. And when the Broken Seal Taproom opened up, they fully committed to being a craft beer destination.

A visit to Broken Seal will give you a chance to sample the local brews. Six Hills do a wide range including various IPAs, pale ales, stout, pilsner and wheat. Our favourite name is definitely “Running With the Big Dogs” Citra! But there is also a rotating range of guests too.

Definitely worth popping in for a drop!
