Six Hills, on Stevenage High Street, holds the distinction of being the town’s first craft brewery and taproom.
The story started in 2017 when founder Paul Clinton started brewing at home. He and his wife were already running a restaurant so they started selling the beers there and never looked back. What started out as a cask ale business evolved into craft beer. And when the taproom opened up, they fully committed to being a craft beer destination.
In 2026 it’s been taken over by old friends Adam and Steve who are maintaining the 14 draught lines including their own beers and guests too. They’ve also debuted their first new beer “Would You Adam And Steve It” and we imagine there’s a lot more to come from these two!
Definitely worth popping in for a drop!
