Stonehurst Farm
Stonehurst Farm in Mountsorrel is a working family farm with a tea shop, farm shop and motor museum. It’s next door to John’s House Restaurant – a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The farm shop stocks homegrown organic produce and the farm’s own beef, pork and lamb. Its Aberdeen Angus beef cattle graze on organically farmed Soar Valley meadows and its Gloucester Old Spot pigs and Suffolk sheep eat only homegrown GM-free cereals and grass.
The Duffin family also grow potatoes, fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables, relying on composted manure for fertiliser and minimising pesticide use.
