The Black Horse is a charming foodie pub on the outskirts of Chorleywood. This is one of the most dog friendly pubs around, which is not surprising considering its location right next to Chorleywood Common, and the fact it’s on Dog Kennel Lane!
The exterior is a beautiful white render and has a real cottage feel to it. Inside there’s a great balance between traditional and modern.
Service is excellent in The Black Horse, friendly and attentive. And the menu blends pub classics such as hearty pies or fish & chips with noodle salads and lamb flatbreads. Modern British with global influences. They like to source ingredients from local suppliers such as Chiltern Fish & Game, Dalling & Co, Seven Seeded Artisan Bread and Grocer on the Green.
And with a range of different seating options from cosy nooks near the bar to heated huts, this is a pub for all seasons!
