The Frame, Leicester
We popped in for lunch at The Frame last time we were in Leicester – it’s relatively new and offers all day dining with a Mediterranean-inspired menu with plenty of sharing-style mezze dishes that are cooked on the wood and coal-fired grill for that authentic taste.
Ingredients are British and seasonal so you’ll likely get to try new dishes each time you visit. At lunch, enjoy small plates such as houmous and whipped feta or bigger plates like chicken wings or corn ribs. In the evenings, you might opt for the chicken shish or butternut squash. But leave room for dessert – the deconstructed baklava cheesecake, with hints of ginger and pistachio is sublime.
And it would be a shame not to try one of the cocktails – the Rosa Bellini sounds divine!
