The Rustic Crust
The Rustic Crust of Farnsfield cooks a seriously good pizza. They serve lovely Neapolitan-style creations that have been hand-pushed, hand-tossed and expertly fired. The beautiful Goats’ Cheese, Honey & Chilli pizza is an excellent example of their work.
All pizzas are handmade to order and baked in a custom-built oven at around 500°C. They make fresh, slow-rise dough with the finest imported “00” milled flour. They select other ingredients with great care too, including fresh yeast, sweet San Marzano tomatoes, cows’ milk mozzarella, fresh basil and top-quality extra-virgin olive oil.
The menu includes the classic Margherita, Mushrooms & Garlic, Prosciutto with Garlic & Sweetcorn, Ragu Bolognese, Spicy Italian Sausage and Roast Squash Salsiccia.
The Rustic Crust also runs “Poppy”, an oven-equipped Land Rover Defender, available for weddings, private and corporate events.
