Two Trees Micro, Watford

Two Trees Micro is a charming, award‑winning micropub tucked into a former shop on Vicarage Road, Watford. Owned by Michael Ash and Kathryn Perry, the pub opened in March 2022 and has already captured the hearts of locals! This is a real ale haven – cosy and intimate.

In a short time, this has already been Watford Observer’s Pub of the Year and now features in the Good Beer Guide. And that’s because of its commitment to a great rolling line-up of real ales, ciders, craft kegs, plus plenty of cans and bottles.

The inspiration behind Two Trees came from various city-breaks in mainland Europe and the small bar scene on the continent. Michael and Kathryn wanted to recreate that same feeling in Watford and have landed on something very special. There are regular tasting evenings, brewery takeovers, beer festivals and quiz nights so lots of reasons to pop down. Although great beer is probably a good enough reason in itself!

If you’re a beer lover in the Watford area, this is not to be missed.
