Urban Larder
Cambridge is home to lots of great independent cafes and restaurants and Urban Larder is one of the best for coffee. It’s a cosy, relaxed spot serving up great toasties, salads and of course coffee. Care is taken to only work with the best suppliers, most of whom are also independent businesses, too. Bread is from Grain Culture in Ely, meat is from Mill Road Butchers in Cambridge and the coffee is roasted by Butterworth & Son in Bury St Edmunds.
You can eat in or take away but be warned, if you tell anyone else you’re popping in to pick up coffee, you might be inundated with orders!
This is a cafe that keeps it simple and if you head there for lunch, why not sample one of the toasties? Chutney Chutney Bang Bang, Shrooms and Blue and Pulled Jackfruit – are all delicious.
