Viento Coffee Company is an artisan coffee roaster and café with locations in Watford and St Albans. They source some of the tastiest coffee from around the world, using only 100% arabica beans.
Since Viento began, they’ve focused on a micro-roasting approach. As the name suggests, this is about roasting the coffee in small batches which allows for deep control over the process. This isn’t about setting computers and walking away; their head roaster carefully logs every step by hand, controlling airflow and adjusting flame to ensure the coffee perfectly matches their roast profiles.
They’re all about provenance too. They pick speciality grade beans which can be traced directly back to the farmer. And because the beans are seasonal, their coffee constantly changes throughout the year.
Pop into either Watford or St Albans to grab some beans or ground coffee, plus cafetieres, mokas, grinders and other paraphernalia. Or stay a while and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee with a pastry or cake. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly too!
