Amélie Flamkuche

What is flamkuche, we hear you cry? Well, it’s like a pizza but isn’t. It’s a thin flatbread originating from eastern France, served with a range of fresh toppings. And it’s ready in just 90 seconds!

Amélie in Cambridge was shortlisted in the street-food category of the GFC Awards and we certainly recommend a visit. It’s run by father and son Alex & Regis Crepy whose aim is to put ‘skinny pizza’ on the menu here in the UK.

Regis has plenty of experience in the restaurant industry having owned several prestigious restaurants in East Anglia. The business is actually named after Alex’s sister who brings her own creativity to Amélie by designing the menus and takeaway boxes.
