Beauvale Priory Bakehouse

Beauvale Priory Bakehouse is a bakery located at Beauvale Priory in Nottinghamshire serving up sourdough, pastries and sausage rolls. Baker Cameron Whyte, is a graduate of The School of Artisan Food’s Baking Diploma and creates the most mouthwatering sweet and savoury bakes.

In addition to the sourdough (the three-cheese is a must-try), pain au chocolat and venison sausage rolls, there’s also a changing menu that includes pies (game pie is an autumn favourite), quiches and teacakes.

Beauvale Priory was founded in 1343 by Nicholas de Cantilupe and is one of nine priories to be built in England and dedicated to the Carthusian Order of monks. As well as the Bakehouse, you’ll also be able visit The Gatehouse Tearooms and see some of the beautifully restored ancient buildings.

Weddings are also catered for and there are two self-catering cottages on site. Dogs are also welcome!
