Beerhouse

Beerhouse really does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a simple venue that sells beer and it’s all the better for it! This unassuming brick building just off the semi-industrial St Mary’s Road belies the quality inside. Simple wood furniture, hops hanging from the ceiling and beer mats all over the walls It’s a place that’s dedicated to one thing, quality drinking!

They take their beers and ciders extremely seriously at Beerhouse, and bring in brews from across the UK and occasionally from further afield. Brogdale, Tiny Rebel, Blue Barrel and Saxby’s have all featured on recent lists. But the main focus is on celebrating and supporting local breweries. With a regularly updating beer list, you likely won’t have the same drink twice. But on most visits to Beerhouse, you’ll see a few familiar breweries on the menu. Notable regulars include Braybrooke from just up the road in Market Harborough or Round Corner from Melton Mowbray. Other popular locals include Charnwood in Loughborough and Langton, from nearby Thorpe Langton.

There’s always a great choice of beers on keg or cask, plus ciders, cans and bottles too. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and happy to offer suggestions or advice. And if you time it right, there might be a jazz band on too!
