Brew & Cru is a lovely, relaxed café and coffee shop at the end of Harpenden High Street. It’s a popular spot for those having a catch up with friends, a weekend brunch or a casual midweek business meeting.
There’s a bright, spacious interior with plenty of tables including a couple of very comfortable sofas at the window. The coffee is excellent too at Brew & Cru. And they serve specialty coffee from Union Roasters, which is all about responsible sourcing.
Food-wise, there’s a big counter at the front full of freshly baked cakes, cookies, flapjacks and the like. Plus there are always filled croissants and other pastries on offer. But grab a menu and you’ll be choosing from bagels, breakfast rolls, wraps and sandwiches. Plus there’s plenty of egg options too such as shakshuka, omelette, pancakes or eggs benedict.
