Dawlicious Raw Milk and Ice Cream, is a testament to passionate, family-run farming. Barry and Jenny Daw, lifelong dairy farmers, have built an award-winning Jersey herd that produces high-quality, nutrient-rich milk. Their daughter Claire has carried on the family tradition with flair, creating Dawlicious Ice Cream – a deliciously creamy treat made right on the farm using their own milk.
If you’re passing Amwell Place Farm, Hertford Heath, where the family have been since 2002, definitely pop in! There is a vending machine (open 7am-6pm daily) where you can pick up fresh free range eggs, natural honey and catch a glimpse of the herd. But don’t leave without some raw milk. It’s fresh, pure, and packed with natural goodness.
The ice cream is a triumph. It’s made in small batches with zero food miles, and using local ingredients such as strawberries from Pearce’s Farm Shop. Flavours on offer include award-winning Just Dawlicious and Chocolate; plus seasonal varieties like Chilli and Daim Bar.
This is a great family business and definitely recommended!
