Level Ground Co is an independent speciality coffee roastery in the heart of Letchworth Garden City, founded by Harry Williams and Paul Cranwell, who are also behind popular café Vutie Beets.
The two businesses share premises at The Wynd, with Level Ground dedicated to sourcing and roasting excellent coffee, while Vutie Beets provides a welcoming café setting in which to enjoy it.
Quality and responsible sourcing are central to Level Ground’s approach. The team carefully selects speciality-grade beans, working with suppliers who share its commitment to ethical trading and ensuring coffee farmers receive fair rewards.
The range includes the signature No.26 espresso blend, single-origin coffees and a Swiss Water decaf. Customers can enjoy Level Ground coffee at Vutie Beets or buy freshly roasted beans to take home.
This is a business dedicated to supporting its local community, raising plenty of money for charity through run clubs, community clean-ups and charity supper clubs. Even its initials, LGC, are a playful nod to the name of its home town!
