Rose & May Deli

Rose & May Deli in Bingham is a family-run deli/cafe. Owner Ian Turner spent 12 years in France learning his cooking skills and makes sublime preserves such as Seville Orange Marmalade with Aperol. He also runs a ‘Bistro at Home’ local delivery service with classic French dishes such as Carbonnade Flamande, Navarin d’Agneau and Bœuf Bourguignon.

The traditional deli side of the operation is excellent, too. Local produce is in abundance – charcuterie from Loxley’s Larder, bread from Hambleton Bakery, Bingham-made mead (with honey produced in the Vale of Belvoir). A fine selection of continental specialities is also on offer. If you can’t get to the shop, you can order items online.

French bistro evenings are held in the cafe twice a month – they are popular so do book in advance.
