Rutland Nursery

Rutland Nursery close to the shores of Rutland Water was already a great venue and since it’s had a sizeable investment, it’s even better. The new 100-seater restaurant called The View does, as it says, have some beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and is stylishly decorated with plenty of spaces to sit and relax.

The brunch menu offers plenty of choice including French toast made with bread from Oakham bakery, Lily & Honey (it’s delicious) and breakfast rolls (we can recommend the bacon). Coffee and cake is available all day and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Why not bag one of the comfy sofas by the window and settle in for a while?

The nursery is also home to Hoggy’s Grill – the cookery school run by former cricketer, Matthew Hoggard.
