Nestled in Royston’s charming Corn Exchange, The Honest Fig is a delight for cheese aficionados and grazing-board lovers. Founded by Linda O’Sullivan (and husband Chris), this is a place to go to pick up all kinds of cheesey goodness.
The journey began with a trial run at a market stall in December 2021. Linda & Chris spotted a gap in the market and before long the six week trial had become an 18 month success. Fast forward to September, Linda gave up her full-time job and The Honest Fig shop became a reality. Since then it’s gone from strength to strength.
Inside, it’s a real home‑from‑home atmosphere. There’s plenty of opportunity to sample the cheeses and get some advice. It’s an ever‑evolving selection and cheeses range from the UK and from overseas, but every wheel is artisan made, and many producers are known personally.
