The Kings Arms, Tring

The King’s Arms (‘KA’) in Tring is one of those fantastic local pubs that you wished you lived next door to. It was built around 1830 and has been through various hands since then, including multiple breweries. In the late 1970s it looked like the pub had run its course until a local couple stepped in. They saved it from extinction and brought it back to life. And over the next 30 years re-built its reputation. In January 2014, Rob Muirhead and family took over and ensured that this community pub continued. If you’re looking for gimmicks, screens and fruit machines, you’ve come to the wrong place.

This is a pub where you can get an exceptional pint of Tring, or a G&T from their own Courtyard Distillery or one of chef Niall’s wonderful dishes. This is fresh, classic cooking, made to a very high standard and with care. Whether it’s honey mustard sausage bites, sweetcorn fritters or brie bites as a starter, or something more substantial like a burger, pie or curry, you’ll be very well fed at The Kings Arms!

This is a lovely pub, run by nice people and serving its community in a wonderful way.
