Ware Café, tucked on West Street under St Mary’s Church, is a lovely family business, owned by Marcello and Maria Palumbo and their son Stefano. And they’ve created a really welcoming, vibrant environment.
It’s a great place to head to for breakfast or brunch. As the family is Italian, excellent coffee is pretty much a given, and it doesn’t disappoint! This isn’t a place to just grab a coffee and go, it’s definitely worth sitting down, ordering some food and enjoying the atmosphere. Breakfasts involve bacon rolls, eggs with avo or full English. If you come for lunch, you’re choosing from simple paninis, baked potatoes or salads. But they also serve homemade soups, quiches and pasta dishes of course! And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, you really need to try a slice of cake or some cannoli.
A lovely neighbourhood café combining simple homecooked food, with great coffee and excellent service! In their words “Ware great conversation and food come together” – lovely stuff!
