John Dory’s, Loughborough

This is the second branch of John Dory’s and it opened in late 2022. The flagship store in Quorn opened in 2018 and is renowned across the area for its fish and chips. But it’s not just fish and chips – no, this is top-notch stuff.

Of course, you can opt for the traditional fried cod and chips but there’s a whole lot more to John Dory’s than that. How about fish baked with garlic, lemon and herb or lime pickle butter? Or perhaps you’re up for something from the street food market menu, such as chicken burger (in a brioche bun) with fresh cut chips?

All fish and seafood is responsibly sourced and there’s weekly specials including Battered Cream Eggs at Easter. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth!
